The Ultimate Feeding Guide for Wolf Dane Pug Meals
If you're here, you're not just feeding your dog—you're elevating their lifestyle. Wolf Dane Pug isn't “dog food.” It's small-batch, gourmet nutrition designed to help your pup live longer, thrive harder, and wag with purpose.
But even the best meals need the right routine. Whether you're a first-time feeder or just want a refresher, here's how to serve our meals like the wellness ritual they were made to be.
1. Twice a Day. No Negotiating.
Consistency is everything. Our meals are portioned for two feedings a day—usually morning and evening. This keeps your dog's digestion stable, their energy balanced, and their mood on point.
2. Portioning is Personal
Every dog is different. That's why your pup's meals are tailored based on weight, age, activity level, and body condition. No guesswork—just the right amount, every time. And if their needs shift? We're here to recalculate.
3. Skip the Chill
Our meals are fresh—like, really fresh. But straight-from-the-fridge cold can be a buzzkill for digestion.
Warm it up slightly: let it sit for 5–10 minutes or add a splash of warm water or bone broth. Boom: gourmet unlocked.
4. Refrigerate the Right Way
Keep unopened meals in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Want to stock up? Freeze for up to 3 months.
Always thaw in the fridge (overnight works great). Never microwave or leave it on the counter all day. You wouldn't do that with your own food—your dog deserves the same care.
5. Transition with Intention
Switching from kibble or another brand? Take it slow:
Days 1–2: 25% WDP + 75% old food
Days 3–4: 50/50
Days 5–6: 75% WDP
Day 7: 100% WDP
Your dog's gut will thank you.
6. Watch Their Poop (Seriously)
We know—glamorous. But poop is the window to wellness.
Healthy = chocolate brown, firm, and easy to scoop.
Runny, mucusy, or foul-smelling? Might be a portioning issue. Let us know and we'll troubleshoot with you.
7. Make Mealtime Enriching
Elevate the vibe. Use a lick mat, slow feeder, or puzzle bowl to add mental stimulation and slow things down. It's self-care for dogs.
8. Don't Feed From the Table (Even if They're Cute)
Many “human” foods are harmful for dogs—or just too fatty. Instead, treat your pup to WDP-approved snacks like freeze-dried liver or our seasonal sweet potato chips. (Trust us, they'll drool harder.)
9. Routines Change—So Should Meals
